
Saints Take Loss at Home
#23 Eastern Florida traveled to Gainesville on Wednesday evening, walking away from the Santa Fe College Gym with a big conference win.

Santa Fe (7-8, 3-3) falls to #23 Eastern Florida (12-2, 5-1) 56-85 to wrap up 2024. In the opening quarter, the offenses started slow scoring just seven combined points into the first media timeout of the game. Both teams went on to add 10 points into their respective categories after 10 minutes of play. Santa Fe took a 14-13 lead into the second quarter, but that lead did not last long, Eastern Florida took an eleven-point lead into the media break and a 19-point lead into the halftime break. The Titans totaled 35 second quarter points. Eastern Florida would go on to hold a 20-point lead most of the second half, coming away with a big conference win over the Saints.
Santa Fe was led by Nakayla Green with 10 points. Green was the only Saint in double figures. However, 10 different SF players were in the scoring column.
The Saints are back in action on January 4th at Gulf Coast State College. Tip is set to begin at 2:00 PM EST.
