Just a day after Maria Contreras was named FSCAA Setter of the Week, she picks up her second honor, NJCAA Offensive Player of the Week. Contreras was honored nationally, because of her career setting match at Daytona State College. Contreras crushed her old career-high with 50 assists in a five-set thriller in Daytona. Not only was Contreras excelling with her setting ability, but she totaled seven kills and three services aces. Contreras averaged 10.0 assists per set during the week.

This marks Bailey Coleman's first NJCAA Player of the Week honor in her tenure at SF. Santa Fe is in action Wednesday versus Florida Southwestern, Thursday versus Andrew College, and finally on the road against Polk State College on Saturday.
