What does it mean to find your GOLD?

SF Athletics wants to help you find your gold.  Santa Fe is one of the most well-respected institutions in the nation and for Alachua and Bradford county students it is right in their backyard.  SF Athletics for many years has helped students from the area, the entire state, and across the nation and globe find their gold.  None more evident that SF Hall of Famer Mike Holloway.  Coach Holloway ran track for the Saints and is now the UF track coach.  Coach Holloway has won multiple NCAA Championships and Coach of the Year awards and is a US Olympic Coach.  He found his gold.  Students from just about every high school the SF service district have worn the Saints jersey and used Santa Fe to springboard to another scholarship offer at a four year school.  The list of students who have come to Santa Fe to get to their next place is endless and you can find those names under “four-year signees” for each sport program. 

Over the past five years the Saints have had 34 Gainesville natives on one of our five rosters.  Santa Fe Achieve has made playing for the Saints even more possible for local athletes.  The Santa Fe Achieve program is tailored to keep local students here at Santa Fe and it gives them an opportunity to receive a full tuition scholarship for up to 60 credit hours.  For more information about this program students can go to SF Achieve.
