
Harman goes to Tampa
Santa Fe outfielder Drake Harman signs with the University of Tampa Spartans

Sophomore Drake Harman has signed with the University of Tampa, continuing his collegiate baseball career for the Spartans.
Originally from Lithia, Florida, Harman played varsity baseball for the Bloomingdale Bulls in Hillsborough County, Florida. After graduation, he joined the Santa Fe baseball program and made an immediate impact, starting in 45 games in both his freshman and sophomore seasons.
In his two seasons as a Saint, Drake Harman has posted extremely impressive numbers, including a .337 batting average, .415 on-base percentage, 115 hits, and 60 RBIs. Not only is he known for his ability at the plate, on the bases Harman has stolen 18 bases since 2023, the most on the team.
Harman will be joining Santa Fe teammate Justin Jackson in Tampa, playing under head coach Joe Urso. Urso has been the head coach of the University of Tampa baseball program since 2001, amassing 5 NCAA Division II National Championships and a stellar record of 1,007-287-1 in 24 seasons.
