
Raiders Handle SF in Game One
Seminole State College of Florida traveled to Gainesville, Florida for the first of a three-game series.

Santa Fe was haunted by errors in the 5-3 loss versus Seminole State on Thursday afternoon. The Saints took an early 2-0 lead in the home half of the first inning before an inning-ending double play. The Saints allowed one run in the second to hold the score at 2-1. In the fourth Seminole State scored three runs to take their first lead. Santa Fe was able to get one more run across in the sixth inning. However, the Raiders got the run back in the seventh to hold a 5-3 win.
Chase Chappell received the start for the Saints in game one of the series going 6.0 innings. Chappell allowed four runs, just one earned run on a day SF had five errors. Chappell allowed seven hits and struck out two on the day. Nick Staszak finished the game allowing three hits and one run. Staszak struck out two. Trey Freeman led the way for Santa Fe at the plate going 2-3 with a walk and one run scored. Ryan Chase, Robery Nedry, and Aiden Andreu all drove in one run.
The Saints travel to Seminole State College on Saturday for a twin-bill starting at 12:30 PM.
