Gainesville, FL – Santa Fe played their second road game in as many days on Saturday afternoon in Bradenton, defeating State College of Florida 86-80. The win improves their record to 6-3 and ups their winning stream to four in a row.
The Saints established themselves defensively in the first half, holding the Manatees to just 31 points over the first 20 minutes to take a 42-31 lead into the break.
SCF adjusted in the second half and made it a two point game late. Santa Fe maintained their lead and their composure to hang on to the victory, keeping their winning streak intact.
D-Juan Taylor-Hodge finished with a team high 20 points and David-Lee Jones had 19.
The Saints will head back home for a game against a tough Indian River State College team on Tuesday, November 29 at 7:00 PM.
