
Jalen Speer Awarded All-FCSAA/All-NJCAA Region 8 Distinction
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - As announced thursday evening at the FCSAA/NJCAA Region 8 Tournament, Jalen Speer has garnered All-FCSAA/All-NJCAA Region 8 honors.
After a standout year from the FAMU transfer, Speer becomes the 22nd player in program-history to receive the distinction.

- A redshirt sophomore point guard from Gainesville...
- Played and started in 28 of the Saints' 29 games, leading the team in minutes.
- Led SF in points per game (17.3) and assists per game (6.4).
- Led the FCSAA in the assist category while statistically ranking as a Top-10 distributor in the NJCAA Division I.
- Notched double-digit scoring in 26 of his 28 contests.
- Just two rebounds shy of a triple-double against State College of Florida on Nov. 19.
- Recorded six double-doubles on the year...
- Season-high marks included 34 points against Florida Gateway (Nov. 30) and 14 assists at St. Petersburg (Feb. 18).
- Totaled 33 steals defensively...
