Saints Fall at #12 Daytona State
Santa Fe traveled to Daytona State to open conference play on Wednesday night.

Daytona State's high-powered offense outscored the Saints 105-76 in the Citrus Conference opener. The Falcons used a big first half to build a lead, as they outscored Santa Fe 47-28 going into the half. However, the Saints did start to battle back scoring 48 points in the second half, but the offense for Daytona State was too much as they put up 58 second half points to cruise to a conference win.
The Saints had three scorers in double figures. Karmello Branch led the charge offensively after winning his third FCSAA Player of the Week award. Branch had 24 points on 8/17 shooting. Connor Morris and Predrag Panisic were the other Saints in double figures. Morris had 14 points off 50% shooting from beyond the arc. Panisic put up 11 points and dished out four assists in the loss.
Santa Fe is back in action on Saturday January 11th. The Saints will travel to Eastern Florida State College for a 4:00 PM tip.
