Saints Fall to Fourth Ranked Falcons
#4 Daytona State College traveled to Gainesville on Saturday afternoon for the second and final regular season conference matchup against Santa Fe.

Santa Fe hung close as Daytona State held them away to win 85-75. The Saints had Daytona State tied until ten minutes left in, the first half when the Falcons went on a run into the halftime break. The Falcons took a 43-31 lead into the halftime break. In the second half Daytona State kept the foot on the gas, as they led by as much as 18 points. The Saints hit timely shots to battle back to a nine-point deficit. Daytona State held it there as the Falcons knocked off the Saints.
The Saints has five guys scoring in double figures as Karmello Branch led with 19 points. Mike Drayton finished with 13 points, Joshua Watkins finished with eleven, and Ryan Webster and Predrag Panisic finished with ten. The Saints knocked in eight three-point baskets in the loss.
The Saints are back in action on Wednesday night when Eastern Florida State College comes to Gainesville for a 7:00 PM tip-off.
