
Saints drop and split season series with St. Petersburg
Santa Fe traveled to St. Petersburg, Florida for the second conference meeting with the Titans.

The Saints come up short in Wednesday Night's contest as St. Petersburg wins 83-75 and splits the regular season series. The Saints kept it close for much of the first half and only trailed to St. Petersburg by a score of 39-37 at halftime. Santa Fe struggled to score in the early minutes in the second half and trailed behind the Titans by as much as 14 points with twelve minutes to go in the game. A burst of second half offense by Ryan Webster helped widdle the lead down to five with a score of 76-71. Ultimately, the Titans were able to hold off the Saints' late second half comeback and knot the season series with Santa Fe 1-1.
Connor Morris led the scoring column for Santa Fe with 21 points off of 7 made 3-point baskets, with Karmello Branch adding 16 of his own. Webster and Predrag Panisic notched 12 and 11 points themselves bringing a total of four Saints into double figures in scoring.
