
Karmello Branch Voted to the All-FCSAA Team
Karmello Branch has now racked up both All-FCSAA and First Team All-Citrus Conference honors to go along with his four-time FCSAA Player of the Week awards.

Karmello Branch was announced Tuesday March 11th to the All-FCSAA Team. The Team included 12 of the best players from around the state of Florida. Branch was awarded to the First Team All-Citrus conference just last week.
Branch, the sophomore guard, led the FCSAA in scoring with 21.4 points per game. Branch scored in double figures in 30 of the 32 games he played in, scoring more than 20 points in 20 of the 32 games. Branch set a career high of 32 points versus Florida gateway on November 13th and then matched the 32-point performance against FSCJ on December 16th.
Outside of scoring, Branch averaged 6.8 rebounds a game and 3.4 assists per game. He led the Saints in all three major categories. The four-time FCSAA Player of the Week shot 44% from the field, 33% from beyond the three-point line, and 78% from the free throw line.
First year SF Head Coach, John Ritzdorf spoke about Branch's high level of play, stating, "Karmello had an outstanding season. Our team needed him to perform at a high level, and he did that throughout the season. His best performances were against some of our toughest competition, when our team needed it the most. Karmello proved he is one of the best players in this region, and he is very deserving of this honor and recognition."
Branch currently holds Division One offers from Central Michigan, Florida A&M, Cal State Northridge, Northern Illinois, Missouri Kansas City, Jacksonville, and LeMoyne.
