Sophomore guard Connor Morris has officially signed to continue his basketball career at the University of Texas Permian Basin
Sophomore guard Connor Morris has decided to continue his collegiate career at The University of Texas Permian Basin, NCAA Division II in the Lone Star Conference.
Standing at 6-foot-5, Morris was a key contributor to the Saints' offense during the 2024-2025 season. He averaged 12.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game, proving to be a reliable and versatile scoring option. His most impressive stat was from beyond the arc, Morris shot an outstanding 45.4 percent from three-point range, establishing himself as one of the top shooters in the conference.
"Connor made a huge jump from his freshman to his sophomore year, and he became one of the best shooters in our conference this season. It was fun to watch Connor as he got consistently better throughout the season in all parts of his game," Ritzdorf said. "He was asked to do a lot for our team and he met every challenge. We are excited to watch him as he continues his career at UT-Permian Basin."
