
Women’s Basketball Upends Miami Dade, 80-70
MIAMI, Fla. – Santa Fe Women's Basketball came out on top of Miami Dade for a second time this season, defeating the Sharks on the road by a final score of 80-70.
First Quarter – MDC 20, SF 17
SF trailed by three points at the end of the opening quarter.
Selah Reddick had five points for the Saints in the early going.
Second Quarter – SF 41, MDC 33
The Saints made their push in the second frame, outpacing the hosts 24-13.
Malea Brown was an offensive catalyst, providing nine points for the SF cause.
Third Quarter – SF 68, MDC 58
The Santa Fe lead grew to double-digits headed into the fourth quarter.
Aleisha Curry turned it on and reached double-digits in the quarter alone, while the Saints canned three triples.
Fourth Quarter – SF 80, MDC 70
Although the offensive output slowed a bit, the Saints preserved the ten-point victory and kept the Sharks from making any push, limiting MDC to just twelve points in the game's last ten minutes.

Curry continued to be a double-double machine, accounting for 14 points and 13 rebounds, while Brown had 14 points of her own.
Reddick put in 13 points, cashing in on three attempts from beyond the arc. Isabella Reynolds had 12 points with two three-pointers, and Olivia Smith poured in ten points to go along with ten rebounds for a double-double.
Taniah Bowers made contributions all over the court, finishing with 11 points, nine rebounds, and five assists.
