
Saints Lose at Eastern Florida
Santa Fe played Eastern Florida for the second time this season, the first in Melbourne.

Santa Fe falls by 23 on the road at Eastern Florida State College. The Saints dug themselves a 21-point hole after the first 20 minutes of the ball game. The Saints scored eight points in the first quarter, and 13 in the second, trailing 40-21 at the break. The Titans pushed the lead in the third quarter to 28 points as Eastern Florida scored 26 third-quarter points compared to just 17 for SF. The Saints outscored Eastern by five points in the fourth quarter, but the Titans were too much in the first three quarters.
Madyson Burney led Santa Fe with 13 points. Burney was the only Saint in double figures. There were four SF players with eight points; including, Aissa Diallo, Micah Hannah, Yanija Lawson, and Ta'Niya Walker. The Saints made 17 field goals, three from behind the three-point arc, and shot 15/23 from the free throw line.
Santa Fe is back in action on Wednesday at 5:00 PM when Hillsborough Community College comes to Gainesville.
