
Saints Fall in Final Game of The Season
The Saints Hosted Miami Dade in Gainesville in their final home game of the season.
The Saints fall to the Sharks in the third matchup of the season between the two with the final score of 56-80. The Sharks started the game hot and took the lead 18-9 at the end of the first quarter. The Saints tried to claw their way back in the second, but the sharks ended the half strong. The Sharks went into the locker room leading by 13 with a score of 31-18. The Sharks came out of the second half very aggresive and expanded their lead to 25 points within the first 4 minutes of the third quarter. The Sharks ended up running away with the game and beat the Saints 80-56.
Nakayla Green led the Saints in the scoring column with 13 points and making 3 threes, Aniyah Anderson added 10 points of her own. Yanija Lawson tallied 17 total rebounds via 8 offensive and 9 defensive rebounds.
