Santa Fe Volleyball Releases 2021 Schedule
GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Head Coach Nick Cheronis and Santa Fe College Volleyball have announced the 2021 schedule for the Saints.
Santa Fe is coming of an excellent campaign in the spring of 2021 when SF played to a record of 17-4, went unbeaten in conference play to earn a Mid-Florida Conference title, and claimed a fourth place finish in the State Tournament.
The first serve of the fall 2021 season will take place inside the SF Gymnasium at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 20. The Saints will play host to Coastal Alabama-East.
The regular season will currently consist of 11 home games and ten away games.
Santa Fe will play eight home-and-away-series (for a total of 16 games) with NJCAA Division I members of the new Suncoast Conference, which include: Miami Dade, State College of Florida, Hillsborough, Florida Southwestern, Indian River, Daytona State, Eastern Florida, and Polk State.
Postseason play begins with the FCSAA/NJCAA Region 8 Tournament, which is scheduled for Oct. 28 - Oct. 30 in Fort Myers, Fla.
The ensuing District Tournament is set for Nov. 5 - Nov. 6, and qualifying teams advance to the NJCAA National Tournament on Nov. 18 - Nov. 20.
