Polk State Tops SF Volleyball, 3-1
WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – The Polk State College Eagles hosted Santa Fe College Volleyball on Wednesday evening and took the match's final two sets to fend off the Saints, 25-7, 16-25, 25-21, 25-17.
It was the first meeting of the season between the two sides after a match originally scheduled for Sept. 23 was rescheduled.

Santa Fe is now 3-13 overall and 2-10 in Suncoast Conference play, after the Saints picked up an adjusted win at Indian River State College on Saturday, Sept. 11.
Just four games remain in the regular season schedule, and despite a continuing losing streak, the Saints' hopes are still alive for postseason play if SF would be able to move into the top six in the Suncoast Conference standings.
SF remains on the road for their next match on Thursday, Oct. 14 at 6:00 p.m. against No. 18 Daytona State College.
