Alex Meier joined the Santa Fe Athletics Team back in October of 2024, helping out with game operations for a short time before heading to a full time internship role in January of 2025 assisting in social media/marketing for the Santa Fe Saints. Alex is a student at the University of Florida pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management and plans to graduate in Spring of 2025.

Alex is currently completing his 480 hours of internship experience with the Santa Fe Athletics department. He is looking to gain valuable experience throughout the internship that can help him translate well after he graduates to whatever sports company or team he represents.

Career Aspirations

Alex is hoping to pursue a lifelong career in social media/marketing for a NFL or CFB team. Alex is also interested in transforming empty stadium parking lots into sociable spaces that families can live, eat, shop, and work daily similar to Patriot Place for the New England Patriots or The Battery for the Atlanta Braves.
