Bio
Gio joined the Santa Fe Athletic Department in January 2026 as an intern. He is graduating from the University of Florida with honors, completing a B.S. in Sport Management. He is from Pompano Beach, Florida where he was the Captain and All-County for Pompano High’s baseball team. He continued his experience in baseball with multiple collegiate level internships and shadowships, but is also interested in American football and golf.
 
Prior to his time as an intern at Santa Fe, Gio was on the board for the Gator Sport Management Organization, where he was heavily involved in meetings and member growth, networked with industry professionals, and had hands-on experiences with various sports organizations.

Career Aspirations:
 
Gio has a strong interest in football, golf, and baseball. He is considering opportunities in marketing/sales, athletic administration, operations. Eager to gain hands-on experience, learn from professionals in the various fields, and discover where his skills align best in the industry, he is motivated and takes pride in all of his work. Some career examples include administration or marketing for the NFL or any of its affiliates, or operations with the PGA.
