Saints Pull Away in Second for 87-78 Win Over SCF
Gainesville, FL – For the second time this season, the Santa Fe Saints got the best of State College of Florida on Saturday, defeating the Manatees 87-78 in Bradenton to improve to 7-4 on the season. The Saints needed double overtime the first time the two teams in Gainesville on November 11, but took care of this one in regulation.

Gainesville, FL – For the second time this season, the Santa Fe Saints got the best of State College of Florida on Saturday, defeating the Manatees 87-78 in Bradenton to improve to 7-4 on the season. The Saints needed double overtime the first time the two teams in Gainesville on November 11, but took care of this one in regulation.
Santa Fe (7-4) trailed 41-40 after a back and forth, closely contested first half, but stepped up in the second half to build as much as an 18 point lead on their way to the nine point win.
Alex Brown led the way for SF with 19 points, including four three pointers, Benjy Dumornay had 18, Ty Birts 15, and Elijah Gore 11. Santa Fe was busy at the free throw line, outscoring the Manatees 22-8 to help give them their third win in a row.
SF will ty and keep their win streak going when they head to Marianna for the Chipola Classic on December 4 and 5. They will take on Gulf Coast State College on Friday at 6:00 PM EST, and battle the hosts Chipola College on Saturday at 4:00 PM EST.
