Santa Fe (4-6) falls to Florida Gateway for the second time this season 66-60. The Saints showed lots of fight down the stretch but came up short after digging too big of a hole in the first half. Florida Gateway led by as much as 20 points in the second half. Santa Fe took the 20-point deficit and made it just a six-point deficit down the stretch, but the effort came up just a bit short of Florida Gateway.

Karmell Branch led Santa Fe in scoring with 23 points. The Sophomore pulled in three rebounds in 39 minutes of action. Predrag Panisic was the only other Saint scoring in double figures with 11 points. Joshua Watkins and Israel Bosenge led SF in the rebounding category with four each. Watkins also totaled three steals in the loss. 

Santa Fe is back in action on Sunday in the Juco Shootout. The Shootout is hosted by Tallahassee State College, in which Santa Fe will take on Gulf Coast State College at 4:00 PM.
