Gulf Coast Defeats Saints, 67-58

Gainesville, FL – The Santa Fe Saints led at halftime on Friday night against Gulf Coast State College, but a second half rally by the Commodores gave them the nine win in a back and forth contest. SF was within four points with just minutes remaining, but GCSC made their free throws down the stretch to preserve the victory. The loss drops Santa Fe to 7-5.

Gainesville, FL – The Santa Fe Saints led at halftime on Friday night against Gulf Coast State College, but a second half rally by the Commodores gave them the nine win in a back and forth contest.  SF was within four points with just minutes remaining, but GCSC made their free throws down the stretch to preserve the victory.  The loss drops Santa Fe to 7-5.
Leo Edwards had a productive offensive game for the Saints, pouring in 18 points, and Alex Brown had 17, including four three pointers.
The Saints continue in the Panhandle Classic on Saturday, December 5 against hosts Chipola College at 4:00 PM EST
