Gainesville, FL – Over the course of the summer, four more men’s basketball players have joined Kevin O’Brien in signing with upper division schools, with one more likely to sign very soon. Ty Birts finished his sophomore season averaging nine points per game, nearly doubling his output from his freshman season. He signed with Lindenwood University, a NCAA Division II school in Missouri earlier in the summer, joining a Lions team that went 16-14 during the 2015-16 season under Head Coach Lance Randall.

Gainesville, FL – Two Santa Fe men’s basketball players signed their NCAA letters of intent recently, signing with four year schools, Coach Chris Mowry announced. Kevin O’Brien, who sat out 2015-16 with a knee injury, inked with Lynn University and Leo Edwards, a sophomore transfer, signed with Kent State University.

Gainesville, FL – LaBrian Shiftlet did everything he could to will the Santa Fe Saints to a victory on Saturday evening in Ocala against the College of Central Florida, but in the end the Patriots were able to hold on at home in overtime for the 88-81 victory. The win clinches CF at least a share of the Mid-Florida Conference title.
