Saints Hope to Build off Last Year's Winning Season
The Saints finished the 2022-23 season with a 17-12 overall record, 9-6 conference record, and had four players receive All-Central Conference honors.
Head Coach Chris Mowry is entering his 21st season with Santa Fe College. The Saints won 4 of their final 5 games last season, but narrowly missed an at-large berth to the FCSAA/NJCAA Region 8 Tournament. The Saints finished the 2022-23 season with a 17-12 overall record, 9-6 conference record, and had four players receive All-Central Conference honors.
The Saints begin the 2023-24 season at home against Mont Sports Academy at 7:00PM on Thursday, November 2nd. Conference play begins at home against Daytona State at 7:30PM on Wednesday, January 10th.
Returners for the Saints include guard Jonathan Renois, guard Tom Di Maria, center Chris Heard, forward Macius Trowe, and forward Makye Boles.
Transfers that the Saints have added are forward Tre Munson from NJIT, guard EJ Rolle from Fairmont Academy, and guard Ashton Lovette from Davis & Elkins. Lovette shot 42% on 3-pointers and 80% at the free throw line, averaged 6.1 points and 3.4 rebounds in 16.3 minutes per game, and recorded 8 steals and 4 blocks.

We have a deep roster, with competition for playing time at every position.
