Gainesville, FL – Following the conclusions of their seasons, both the women’s and men’s basketball teams saw players honored for their on the court efforts this past season. Four men’s players and four women’s players were honored by the Mid-Florida Conference, and one women’s player, Stephanie Jackson, was named FCSAA All-State.

Daytona, FL – The Santa Fe Saints lead Daytona State in the second half of their Mid-Florida Conference tilt, but couldn’t hold on, falling to the Falcons 69-64.

Gainesville, FL – The Santa Fe Saints played one of their most complete games of the season on Saturday night in Ocala, defeating the nationally ranked #15 Central Florida Patriots by eight points in a game in which they lead by as many as 18 late in the second half.

Gainesville, FL – College of Central Florida sophomore forward Carlos Dotson had the best all-around game of his career on Wednesday afternoon against the Santa Fe Saints, pouring in 33 points to go with 18 rebounds in the FCSAA #3/NJCAA #16 Patriots 88-75 win over SF. The loss is the first at home this season for the Saints who are now 11-1 in the SF Gym.

Daytona, FL – In a game that saw two fouls called in the last three seconds of a one point game the FCSAA #9 Santa Fe Saints came out on top over #8 Daytona State, making two free throws with 0.3 seconds left to win their eighth game in a row. The victory moves SF to 14-5 overall and 2-0 in the Mid-Florida Conference. The winning streak is now over a month and dates back to December 9. The Saints last loss came on December 2.

Gainesville, FL – The Santa Fe Saints started off slow on Saturday afternoon on day one of the Florida Colleges Shootout, but quickly turned it around with a 36-5 run in the first half to turn an 11-4 deficit into a 40-21 halftime lead.

Gainesville, FL – D-Juan Taylor-Hodge led a Santa Fe team on a mission Sunday afternoon in the Florida Colleges Shootout, as the Saints defeated Broward College 83-58 behind 24 points from the sophomore. Taylor-Hodge added 10 rebounds for good measure and made the play of the day, trailing behind a Broward player for a block on a lay-up attempt in the second half. He was 6-for-6 from the three point line and 9-for-11 from the field.

Gainesville, FL – The Santa Fe Saints and Indian River State Pioneers played a fast paced high scoring game on Monday evening in Fort Pierce, combining for 165 points in the IRSC 85-80 victory.

Gainesville, FL – Alsean Evans had another solid all around effort for the Santa Fe Saints on Friday evening, scoring 18 points to go with seven rebounds, four assists, and a steal in 25 minutes to lead SF past Clearwater Academy International 78-59.

Gainesville, FL – The Santa Fe Saints traveled to Gordon State College for the Gordon State Classic on Friday evening and took on the home town Highlanders, falling 77-66. The Saints trailed by just four points at the halftime break 30-26 but struggled to stop Gordon State in the second half, surrendering 47 points. The loss is the first of the season for the Saints and drops them to 3-1.

Gainesville, FL – Sophomores D-Juan Taylor-Hodge and Sean Flood paced the Santa Fe Saints on Saturday against Atlanta Metro College, leading SF (4-1) to a big 76-66 win, a day after a close loss to tournament hosts Gordon State College. Taylor-Hodge had a game high 20 points and Flood scored 16 for a short handed Saints team missing three key rotational players.

Gainesville, FL – The Santa Fe Saints men’s basketball team has finished their preparations for the start of the season and will tip off against Impact Academy on Wednesday, November 1 at 7:00 p.m. “Our guys are excited to get out there and play against someone else,” said SF Coach Chris Mowry. “They’ve been battling in practice and working hard to get ready for opening day.”
