
Santa Fe Falls to #9 FSCJ
Santa Fe traveled to Jacksonville on Wednesday night for the nonconference match against a top-10 opponent in Florida State College at Jacksonville.

Santa Fe College made the short trip to Jacksonville on Wednesday night to take on the ninth-ranked team in the NJCAA Division II poll. Florida State College at Jacksonville took the win on their home court 81-63. FSCJ took a 38-25 lead into the break; however, The Saints kept the game within striking distance down the stretch, narrowing the lead to six points with six minutes on the clock. The Saints then had a turnover and three straight missed shots which the Manta Rays capitalized on down the stretch to extend their lead.
Predrag Panisic led the scoring for Santa Fe with 20 points on four made three-point shots. The 20-point night for Panisic is now a new career-high for the Sophomore Forward. Karmello Branch (15 points) and Connor Morris (12 points) both added double-figure scoring on the night. This marks the first time in the young season that Branch did not lead SF in the scoring category.
