Three Point Barrage Leads Saints Past FSC-J, 73-66
Jacksonville, FL – The Santa Fe Saints made a season high 16 three pointers on Wednesday evening against Florida State College-Jacksonville, shooting their way to a 73-66 victory over the Blue Wave. FSC-J did their best to keep pace, nailing 10 three pointers of their own.

Jacksonville, FL – The Santa Fe Saints made a season high 16 three pointers on Wednesday evening against Florida State College-Jacksonville, shooting their way to a 73-66 victory over the Blue Wave. FSC-J did their best to keep pace, nailing 10 three pointers of their own.
Morris Marshall led the way with 22 points for Santa Fe, including six three pointers, and Allen Baez and Michael Sanchez had 19 points and five three point makes each.
The Saints (13-8, 1-1 MFC) hit 10 three pointers in the first half alone, but clung to just a one point lead, 38-37, heading into the locker room.
In the second half Santa Fe continued their hot outside shooting, nailing six more threes, making them 16-for-30 on the game. They held the Blue Wave in check offensively and closed the game out for a seven point win.
The Saints next game will be at home on Saturday, January 24 at 4:00 PM against Daytona State College. The SF women will battle FSC-J at 2:00 PM. Both games can be seen live at www.ihigh.com/santafesaints
