Lakeland, FL – The NJCAA #7 Santa Fe Saints (39-11) looked to be in control of their FCSAA Tournament game on Wednesday afternoon, taking an 8-4 lead into the bottom of the ninth against the defending National Champions Chipola College. It wasn’t meant to be however, as a rally by the Indians, capped by a close call at first base ended the Saints season.
Lakeland, FL – The NJCAA #7/FCSAA #2 Santa Fe Saints (39-9) started their first round game against Hillsborough CC at the FCSAA Tournament on Friday night and finished on Saturday morning, defeating the Hawks 9-1 in eight innings. The game wrapped up at 1:10 a.m.

Gainesville, FL – For the third season in a row and the eighth in the 12 years under the direction of Coach Johnny Wiggs, the NJCAA #1 Santa Fe Saints are Mid-Florida Conference champions. SF got it done on Wednesday afternoon against the College of Central Florida, taking down the Patriots 15-7 in seven innings. Combined with a St. John’s River State College loss, SF clinched the title with three games still to play. The win also gives the Saints a season sweep (4-0) over CF.

Gainesville, FL – Mikey Navarrete had one of his best games of the season on Tuesday afternoon for Santa Fe (36-7, 17-3 MFC) against Daytona State College, turning in five quality at bats, including three hits, one hit by pitch, and a sacrifice bunt. He also scored four runs and knocked a run in.

Jacksonville, FL – The Santa Fe Saints tightened their grip on first place in the Mid-Florida Conference with a 4-0 win on the road over Florida State College-Jacksonville, completing a four game season sweep over the Blue Wave. The win is the twelfth in a row for the #1 ranked team in the nation, who have not suffered a defeat since March 17.

Gainesville, FL – The NJCAA #1 Santa Fe Saints went on the road and won another tight game Wednesday afternoon, 7-6 in 11 innings over Daytona State. The game would go back and forth through the first seven innings with the game tied 6-6 at the end of seven. Both teams went scoreless in the 8th, 9th, and 10 innings.

Daytona, FL – Andrew Eyster and the Santa Fe Saints had to rally late against Daytona State College, scoring four runs in the eighth to erase a 9-6 Falcons lead. They would tack on six runs in the ninth to put the game away. The win moves them to 33-6 overall and 13-2 in the Mid-Florida Conference.

Gainesville, FL – Devin Hemenway was lights out on the mound Friday afternoon against Seminole State College, and Brock Edge hammered two homeruns to pace the NJCAA #2 Saints (32-6, 13-2 MFC) past the Raiders 9-1 in eight innings. For Hemenway it’s his second straight double digit strikeout game. He fanned 13 batters a week after striking out 11 against Lake Sumter.

Leesburg, FL – The NJCAA #2/FCSAA #4 Santa Fe offense continued their torrid pace on Wednesday afternoon in Leesburg, putting up another double digit effort in a 10-6 win over Lake Sumter State College. The victory is the eighth in a row for the Saints (31-6, 12-2 MFC) and their fourth in a row with double digit runs. They now have scored 10 or more runs in 14 contests this season, including seven of their last eight games. During their eight game win streak they have scored 83 runs.

Gainesville, FL – The Santa Fe Saints struggled offensively for most of the day, but two late game substitutions came up big for the #7 team in the country to give SF a 5-4 11th inning win over Seminole State College. The win moves the Saints to 27-6 overall and 8-2 in the Mid-Florida Conference.

Ocala, FL – The FCSAA #4/NJCAA #7 Santa Fe offense put up double digit runs for the third straight game against the College of Central Florida Saturday in Ocala, holding off a late charge by the Patriots to win 10-8. The win completes a three game sweep for SF and moves them to 26-6 overall and 7-2 in the Mid-Florida Conference.

Gainesville, FL – The FCSAA #4/NJCAA #7 Santa Fe Saints and College of Central Florida Patriots played one of the most exciting baseball games of the season on Friday afternoon, culminating in a Brock Edge walk off double to turn a one run deficit into a 12-11 Saints walk off win.

Gainesville, FL – Brock Edge had the first cycle for the Santa Fe Saints since 2009 on Friday afternoon against Kalamazoo Valley CC, leading the way for SF over the Cougars 13-5. Nolan Malone was the last Saint to hit for the cycle when he did it against Monroe CC for the Saints FCSAA Championship team.

Gainesville, FL – Santa Fe continued their hot start to Mid-Florida Conference play on Wednesday afternoon, defeating Florida State College-Jacksonville 13-7 in Gainesville. The win improves the NJCAA #5 Saints to 21-4 and 3-0 in MFC play. They’ve now won seven games in a row, their second winning streak of at least seven games this season. Devin Hemenway started on the hill and tossed seven innings, allowing five runs, three of them earned, and struck out eight.

Jacksonville, FL – The Santa Fe Saints showed a lot of fight Monday on the road at Florida State College-Jacksonville, rallying twice to pull out an 8-7 win over the Bluewave, improving their record to 20-4 overall and 2-0 in the Mid-Florida Conference.

Gainesville, FL – The Santa Fe Saints took a two run lead into the top of the ninth inning, but couldn’t hold off the State College of Florida rally as the Manatees plated three runs with two outs to pull off the 6-5 win. The loss drops FCSAA #2 SF to 14-3 on the season.

Winter Haven, FL – Santa Fe sophomore pitcher Mitch Campion (3-0) was stellar on the mound for the FCSAA #2/Baseball America #14 Santa Fe Saints (14-2) Monday evening in Winter Haven, tossing seven shutout innings to earn the win over Polk State College. Campion scattered four hits and struck out six. He now has a 0.82 ERA in four starts and has allowed 0 runs in three of four starts. His scoreless innings streak sits at 18.

Gainesville, FL – Nearly two weeks ago, Santa Fe freshman Kyler Marquis hit a walk over homerun to lift the FCSAA #2/Baseball America #14 Saints to a walk off victory over Tallahassee CC, and on Friday afternoon in Bradenton he again saved a game, but this time defensively.
